jasen & annette

j & a have been friends of ours for a while and around christmas time, my husband and i were stumped on what would be a great "couple" gift for them.

then we got their christmas card and i realized i had never taken their photos so....

...the rest is history.

finally, six months later on a beautiful summer day, we gave jasen and annette their present.

i have been wanting to do an urban-alley-parking-garage-shoot for a while and felt that jasen and annette would be the perfect couple to try it on.

it was so much fun. they were so very relaxed and were up to try anything.

what cracked me up the most however, was jasen's fake laugh. seriously, if i had recorded it i could make everyone giggle just by playing it!

and annette, she couldn't stop smiling the whole time!

such a sweet couple.

thank you jasen and annette for letting me take your photos and spend an evening laughing with you.

rebecca senior 2011

the last time i had seen rebecca and her family was when i did their family photos about 4 years ago so in my mind's eye she looked like this....

so you can imagine my surprise when i saw this young, beautiful adult before my eyes!

the pre-teen girl of yesteryear in her pink chucks and braces had morphed into a funny, lady gaga-jeep-and-nature lovin' gal...

..and i was fortunate enough to help her celebrate her senior year.

thank you rebecca for a fun and adventurous photo shoot! congrads on your senior year.

little girl r

this was my first time photographing r and i knew 2 things about her going in: 1. she was FAST and 2. she was FAST.

so, after much thought i felt the best way to photograph r was to have her doing something. then she would be busy and ignore me.

for the most part, it worked.

but even when tea time was over and running time had begun, we got some cute photos too!

this was so much fun and the best part is i don't think r even knew what we were doing! definitely going to be doing this again!

the adorable walkup family

a couple of weeks ago, i got the privilege to photograph this lovely family. i have to admit, i was a bit nervous at first since there were 3 kids under the age of 4.

sometimes that works out. sometimes it does not.

in our case, it worked out.

(of course, it helps to bribe them with sugary treats!)

i love these next three. it makes me wish we had some pink cuteness in our home.

sisters.

mom and dad with baby.

thank you walkup family for a fun photo shoot and for being the great family you are.we are blessed to have you in our lives.
